Ed Harris, Security Support Officer

Ed Harris is DI’s Security Support Officer in Afghanistan, where he supports DI’s Electoral Reform and Civic Advocacy Program in the country. Since 2008, Mr. Harris has been operating in Afghanistan with ISAF in offensive operations against the insurgency conducting reconnaissance, planned attacks and intelligence tasks. He has also acted as a security specialist, conducting training of local nationals and intelligence collating with other agencies. Prior to 2008, Mr. Harris operated in Northern Ireland, Kosovo and South America.
