Maggie Moore, Administrative Officer

Maggie Moore is the Administrative Officer for Democracy International (DI). She provides logistical, administrative, and technical support for overseas programs and home office operations. She is also the Program Assistant for the Afghanistan Electoral Reform & Civic Advocacy Project (AERCA). In 2010, Ms. Moore served as DI’s media liaison for the Wolesi Jirga (Parliamentary) elections in Afghanistan. Prior to joining DI, she worked as a regional field organizer for the Louisiana Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign in the 2008 presidential campaign. Ms. Moore has also worked for Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA), Representative Edward Markey (D-MA), Representative Heath Shuler (D-NC), and Italy’s Council of Ministers. She graduated in 2008 from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. She is proficient in Italian.
