Bileh Dougsiyeh is a Program Management Officer with Democracy International (DI), where he provides support to programs in Bangladesh and Latin America. Prior to joining DI, Mr. Doughsiyeh was part of a program management team with Global Communities, supporting projects in Ghana, Jordan, and Sri Lanka. He served an 18-month post in Ghana as a Communications and Learning Officer on the Mastercard Foundation funded YIEDIE project. Before going to Ghana, Mr. Dougsiyeh was a Program Associate with Global Communities, where he provided support to a large portfolio of projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, South Sudan, Liberia, Uganda, and Haiti. He began his career with the National Democratic Institute, as a Project Assistant on the Central and West Africa team supporting projects in Mali. He received a B.A. from Georgia State University Majoring in Political Science with a concentration on International Affairs and a Minor in Arabic Language and is currently a M.A. candidate at the American University of Paris. Mr. Dougsiyeh is proficient in French language.
