Emmanuel Alexander is the Program Assistant on the Operations and Administration Team at Democracy International. He previously served as the Tracking Coordinator at American Bridge 21st Century PAC, a Democratic opposition research firm. In that capacity, Emmanuel helped to supervise 35 field researchers across 28 states to track over 11,000 events during the 2018 election cycle. Emmanuel has deep experience working for progressive candidates and causes on the local, state, and federal level. Mr. Alexander has also worked with multiple international airlines in various capacities. Emmanuel’s keen interest in emergent democracies comes from his time studying at the University of Cape Town in South Africa; where he was active in student politics including the Fees Must Fall Movement.

Emmanuel holds a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in international politics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
