Erin Waldman is a Program Management Associate with Democracy International. Prior to joining DI, she worked at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP as a Legal Resource Assistant in the Legislative and Public Policy practice group. Erin previously interned with the State Department in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, supporting their multilateral programs and events and the LGBTQIA+ rights team. She also worked with the African Wildlife Foundation in Nairobi on transparency efforts in protected lands management. She is especially interested in human rights advocacy and community participation in environmental governance.

Erin graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in with a B.A. in Anthropology: Environment and Global Health, and minors in Political Science and African and African American Studies. She speaks basic French and Kiswahili.
