Marit is a Business Development Specialist on Democracy International’s Strategy & Outreach team. She joined DI after completing a Fulbright grant in Mexico City, where she worked at a Mexican financial technology startup. Previously, on the Americas team at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, Marit supported programming, strategic communications, and business development, focusing on empowering marginalized groups and combating disinformation in electoral processes. Marit earned her B.A. in mathematics and political science from Williams College. She is fluent in Spanish.
