Yewoub Geadion

Deputy Chief of Party

Yewoub Geadion is the Deputy Chief of Party for DI’s Elections and Democracy Activity in Liberia. She was formerly a Program Manager for Democracy International supporting programs in Colombia, Ethiopia, Jamaica, and El Salvador. She is a program management professional with over 10 years’ experience managing large, complex, donor-funded international programs that promote economic development across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. Prior to joining DI, she worked with NCBA CLUSA providing oversight to programs that support smallholder farmers and rural SMEs in Uganda, Senegal, Dominican Republic, and Malawi. Ms. Geadion is passionate about ensuring youth are meaningfully integrated in programs both at the design and implementation phases to right-size solutions that address their needs and gaps. She has overseas experience in Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Malawi, Dominican Republic, Nigeria, Ghana, and Iraq.

Ms. Geadion earned her B.A. in Economics with a minor in French from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). She is fluent (speaking) in Amharic and has basic proficiency in French.
