Democracy International conducted a performance evaluation of USAID/Afghanistan’s Rule of Law Stabilization Program – Formal Justice Sector Component implemented by Tetra Tech DPK. The evaluation provided a detailed examination of the extent to which program activities achieved their goals of improving the judiciary, court management, legal education, and public legal outreach in Afghanistan. DI assessed the effectiveness, achievements, and sustainability of the program, particularly in view of the transition in 2014, and made recommendations to increase the impact and effectiveness of future justice sector reform programming.
