Project Description
In 2008 Democracy International conducted an evaluation of USAID/Colombia’s human rights program. The program was designed to assist the Government of Colombia to strengthen justice, focusing in particular on the more vulnerable areas and population groups of the country. The team made recommendations for USAID interventions, including working with civil society organizations and the government of Colombia to prevent human rights violations, protect vulnerable civilians and communities at risk, and fulfill victims’ rights to justice.
