Project Description

For the Europe and Eurasia Bureau of USAID and the U.S. Department of State, Democracy International conducted a comprehensive study of programs to assist the development of political parties in the region. DI prepared a desk study and literature review that analyzed the state of U.S. government-supported political party assistance. The program also included case studies and field work in four countries, chosen to represent different political environments and party assistance strategies in Europe and Eurasia: Serbia, Romania, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan.
