Project Description

Democracy International conducted a final performance evaluation of the Responsible Accountable Democratic Assembly (RADA) Program completed by the East Europe Foundation (EEF) and funded by USAID/Ukraine. The RADA Program aimed to strengthen the parliament’s accountability, representativeness, and independence and to enhance civic engagement with the legislature. DI’s RADA evaluation assessed the relevance, effectiveness, and overall success of the RADA program based on dimensions of most significant change, effectiveness, and innovation. DI used a mixed-methods approach to measure the data against these dimensions in four distinct stages and the evaluation’s findings informed USAID about the program’s value and opportunities to continue with future programming.
