Gina Bjornlund serves as the Director of Administration at Democracy International. She was formerly a Program Officer with DI. An experienced researcher and program manager, Ms. Bjornlund previously conducted photo and film research for PhotoAssist, conducted research and produced documentary films in the U.S. and abroad for Koch TV, and worked as a Program Officer for the National Democratic Institute in Africa, South Asia and the Middle East. Among other projects, she served as lead researcher on DI’s Study of Court Reporters and Electronic Recording of Court Proceedings. She has lived and worked in Indonesia, West Bank and Gaza, and Zambia. Ms. Bjornlund has a B.A. from Boston College and speaks French and Bahasa Indonesia.
