Nawate Wani is a Business Development Assistant with Democracy International. Prior to starting at DI, Ms. Wani interned at Aiddata, a William and Mary-based research lab, as a research assistant focusing on Chinese Soft Power influence.

Ms. Wani is a 2022 graduate from the College of William and Mary where she studied International Relations and Economics. Ms. Wani is fluent in both French and Kirundi and has intermediate Spanish skills.
